अथ ये नैव कुर्वन्ति नैव जातु भवन्ति ते । ऐकगुण्यमनीहायामभाव: कर्मणां फलम्
atha ye naiva kurvanti naiva jātu bhavanti te | aikaguṇyam anīhāyām abhāvaḥ karmaṇāṃ phalam ||
ஆனால் எவ்விதச் செயலும் செய்யாதவர்கள்—எப்போதும், எந்த நிலையிலும்—உலகில் செயலாற்றும் கர்த்தராக நிலைபெறார். ஒருபக்கமான சோம்பலும் முயற்சியின்மையும் நிறைந்த நிலையில் செயலின் பலன் வெறும் இல்லாமையே; பலன் உண்டாகாது.
