श्रोत्रियस्थेव ते राजन् मन्दकस्याविपक्चित: । अनुवाकहता बुद्धिर्धर्ममेवैकमी क्षते
śrotriyastha iva te rājan mandakasya avipakvitaḥ | anuvākahatā buddhir dharmam evai kam īkṣate ||
அரசே! வேதத்தின் பொருளை அறியாத மந்த புத்தியுடைய வேதபாடகனின் அறிவு பாடங்களை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் உச்சரிப்பதால் சோர்ந்து, தர்மம் என்றால் மந்திர உச்சரிப்பே என்று மட்டும் காண்பதுபோல், உங்கள் அறிவும் அமைதித் தர்மத்தையே மட்டும் நோக்கி நிற்கிறது।
