अस्तु शेषं कौरवाणां मा पराभूदिदं कुलम् | कुलघ्न इति नोच्येथा नष्टकीर्ति्नराधिप,“नरेश्वर! कौरववंश बचा रहे, इस कुलका पराभव न हो और तुम भी अपनी कीर्तिका नाश करके कुलघाती न कहलाओ
astu śeṣaṃ kauravāṇāṃ mā parābhūd idaṃ kulam | kulaghna iti nocyethā naṣṭakīrtir narādhipa ||
மன்னனே! கௌரவர்களில் எஞ்சியோர் நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும்; இக்குலம் வீழ்ச்சியடைந்து அழியாதிருப்பதாக. புகழை இழந்து ‘குலத்தை அழித்தவன்’ என்று பெயர் பெறாதே.
