प्राप्तवानस्मि यल्लोके क्षत्रवंशोद्धवं यश: । वीरशब्दफलं चैव तेन संयुज्यतां भवान्
prāptavān asmi yal loke kṣatravaṁśodbhavaṁ yaśaḥ | vīraśabdaphalaṁ caiva tena saṁyujyatāṁ bhavān ||
இந்த உலகில் க்ஷத்திரிய வம்சத்திலிருந்து எழும் புகழையும், ‘வீரன்’ எனப் போற்றப்படுவதால் வரும் பயனையும் நான் பெற்றேன்; நீரும் அதனுடன் இணைந்தவராகுக—அத்தகைய கீர்த்தியும் வீரத்தின் உண்மைப் பயனும் உமக்குக் கிடைக்கட்டும்।
