निवर्तय मन: पापात् परदाराभिमर्शनात् | देवराजो5सि भद्ठं ते प्रजा धर्मेण पालय,“परायी स्त्रियोंका स्पर्श पापकर्म है। उससे मनको हटा लीजिये। आप देवताओंके राजा हैं। आपका कल्याण हो। आप धर्मपूर्वक प्रजाका पालन कीजिये'
nivartaya manaḥ pāpāt paradārābhimarśanāt | devarājo 'si bhadraṃ te prajā dharmeṇa pālaya ||
பிறனுடைய மனைவியைத் தொடுதலும் அவளை நாடுதலும் பாவம்; அதிலிருந்து மனத்தைத் திருப்புக. நீர் தேவராஜன்—உமக்கு மங்கலம் உண்டாகுக. தர்மப்படி குடிகளைப் பேணி காக்குக.
