Book 12, Chapter 93 — Vāmadeva’s Counsel to King Vasumanā on Dharmic Kingship (धर्मप्रधान-राजधर्मोपदेशः)
एवं यो धर्मसंरम्भी धर्मार्थपरिचिन्तक: । अर्थान् समीक्ष्य भजते स ध्रुवं महदश्षुते
evaṁ yo dharma-saṁrambhī dharmārtha-paricintakaḥ | arthān samīkṣya bhajate sa dhruvaṁ mahad aśnute ||
இவ்வாறு தர்மத்தில் உறுதியாக நிலைத்து, தர்மமும் அர்த்தமும் குறித்து சிந்தித்து, பொருள்-வழிகளை விவேகத்துடன் ஆராய்ந்து முறையாகப் பயன்படுத்துகிறவன்—நிச்சயமாக மகத்தானதும் நிலையானதும் ஆன பலனை அடைவான்.
