तेषां वृत्ति परिणयेत् कक्रिद् राष्ट्रेषु तच्चर: । जिघांसव: पापकामा: परस्वादायिन: शठा:
teṣāṁ vṛttiṁ pariṇayet kakrid rāṣṭreṣu taccaraḥ | jighāṁsavaḥ pāpakāmāḥ parasvādāyinaḥ śaṭhāḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அரசுகளிலெல்லாம் சுற்றிச் செல்லும் ஒரு உளவாளி, அவர்களின் வாழ்வாதார முறையையும் நடத்தைமுறையையும் அறியட்டும்—கொலை செய்யத் துடிப்போர், பாவ நோக்கமுடையோர், பிறருடையதை அபகரித்து வாழ்வோர், வஞ்சகர்கள்.
