सुप्रभं सानुनादं च सुप्रशस्तनिवेशनम्‌ । शुराब्यजनसम्पन्नं ब्रह्मघोषानुनादितम्‌

Transliteration

suprabhaṁ sānunādaṁ ca supraśastaniveśanam | śūrābhyajanasampannaṁ brahmaghoṣānunāditam ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அந்நகரம் ஒளிவீசி ஒலியால் முழங்கியது; அதன் அமைப்பும் குடியிருப்புகளும் மிகச் சிறப்பாகத் திட்டமிடப்பட்டு புகழப்பட்டன. அது வீரரும் உயர்குலத்தாரும் நிறைந்ததாக இருந்தது; மேலும் பிராமண வேதமந்திரங்களின் புனித ஓசை அங்கெங்கும் எதிரொலித்தது.
