एकच्छत्रां महीं कृत्वा कौसल्याय यशस्विने । मुनि: कालकवृक्षीय ईजे क्रतुभिरुत्तमै:,कालकवृक्षीय मुनिने अपने बुद्धिबलसे यशस्वी कोसलनरेशको भूमण्डलका एकच्छत्र सम्राट् बनाकर अनेक उत्तम यज्ञोंद्वारा यजन किया
ekacchatrāṁ mahīṁ kṛtvā kausalyāya yaśasvine | muniḥ kālakavṛkṣīya īje kratubhir uttamaiḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— காலகவிருக்ஷீய முனிவர் பூமியை ஒரே குடைக்கீழ் கொண்டுவந்து, புகழ்மிக்க கோசல அரசனுக்காக உயர்ந்த யாகங்களால் யஜ்ஞங்களை நிகழ்த்தினார்.
