Treasury Security, Protection of Informants, and the Kalakavṛkṣīya Exemplum (Śānti Parva 83)
तेन विप्रकृता: सर्वे राजयुक्ता: कुरूद्वह । तमस्यभिप्रसुप्तस्य निशि काकमवेधयन्
tena viprakṛtāḥ sarve rājayuktāḥ kurūdvaha | tamasy abhiprasuptasya niśi kākam avedhayan ||
குருவம்சச் சிறந்தவனே! அந்த முனிவரால் அவமதிக்கப்பட்ட அரச ஊழியர்கள் அனைவரும், இருள்மிகு இரவில் முனிவர் ஆழ்ந்த நித்திரையில் இருந்தபோது, அவரது காக்கையை அம்பால் குத்தி கொன்றனர்.
