अरणीमग्निकामो वा मथ्नाति हृदयं मम । वाचा दुरुक्तं देवर्षे तन्मे दहति नित्यदा
araṇīm agnikāmo vā mathnāti hṛdayaṃ mama | vācā duruktaṃ devarṣe tan me dahati nityadā ||
வாயுதேவன் கூறினான்—“தேவரிஷியே! தீயை வெளிப்படுத்த விரும்பும் மனிதன் அரணி மரங்களை உரசுவது போல, அவர்களின் கடுஞ்சொற்கள் என் இதயத்தை இடையறாது கலக்குகின்றன; அந்த தீய மொழி என்னை நாள்தோறும் எரிக்கிறது.”
