Cāturāśramya-dharma—Marks of the Four Āśramas (चातुराश्रम्यधर्मः)
प्रजापतिर्हिं भगवान् सर्व चैवासृजज्जगत् । स प्रवृत्तिनिवृत्त्यर्थ धर्माणां क्षत्रमिच्छति
prajāpatir hi bhagavān sarvaṃ caivāsṛjaj jagat | sa pravṛtti-nivṛtty-arthaṃ dharmāṇāṃ kṣatram icchati |
பகவான் பிரஜாபதி இந்த முழு உலகையும் படைத்தார்; உயிர்களை நற்கர்மத்தில் ஈடுபடுத்தவும் தீக்கர்மத்திலிருந்து விலக்கவும், தர்மத்தை காக்கும் பொருட்டு அவர் க்ஷாத்திர சக்தியின் நிறுவலை விரும்பினார்.
