बुद्धा भवति संयुक्तो माहात्म्यं चाधिगच्छति । वह मनुष्य इस भूतलपर भगवान् विष्णुकी महत्तासे युक्त तथा बुद्धिसम्पन्न हो विशेष माहात्म्य प्राप्त कर लेता है
buddhā bhavati saṁyukto māhātmyaṁ cādhigacchati |
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—விழித்துணர்ந்த புத்தியுடன் கூடி, திருமால் (விஷ்ணு) அவர்களின் மகிமையோடு இணைந்தவன் உண்மையான மஹாத்மியத்தை அடைகிறான்; மேலும் சிறப்பான ஆன்மீகப் புகழையும் பெறுகிறான்।
