प्रेष्प्माणा विकल्पन्ते गुह्मां चाप्पनुयुञ्जते । अयाच्य॑ चैव याचन्ते भोज्यान्याहारयन्ति च
preṣyamāṇā vikalpante guhyaṃ cāpy anuyuñjate | ayācyaṃ caiva yācante bhojyāny āhārayanti ca ||
ஒரு காரியத்திற்காக அனுப்பினால், அவர்கள் தேவையற்ற தயக்கங்களை எழுப்பி அதன் நிறைவேற்றத்தை சந்தேகத்திற்குள் தள்ளுகிறார்கள். இரகசியங்களில் தலையிட்டு அரசன் மறைத்த குறைகளையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்கள். கேட்கக் கூடாதவற்றையும் கேட்கிறார்கள்; அரசனுக்காக வைக்கப்பட்ட உணவையும் தாமே உண்டு விடுகிறார்கள்.
