स तेनाकुण्ठधारेण ज्वलितानलवर्चसा । कुठारेणाप्रमेयेण लोकेष्वप्रतिमो5भवत्,उस कुठारकी धार कभी कुण्ठित नहीं होती थी। वह जलती हुई आगके समान उद्दीप्त दिखायी देता था। उस अप्रमेय शक्तिशाली कुठारके कारण परशुरामजी सम्पूर्ण लोकोंमें अप्रतिम वीर हो गये
sa tenākuṇṭhadhāreṇa jvalitānalavarcāsā | kuṭhāreṇāprameyeṇa lokeṣv apratimo 'bhavat ||
எப்போதும் மங்காத கூர்மையுடன், எரியும் தீயின் ஒளிபோல் ஜ்வலித்த அந்த அளவிடமுடியாத வல்லமை கொண்ட கோடாரியால் பரசுராமர் எல்லா உலகங்களிலும் ஒப்பற்ற வீரராக உயர்ந்தார்.
