Prāyaścitta and Contextual Non-Culpability (प्रायश्चित्त-निमित्त-अदोषवाद)
मनोरथं तु यो दद्यादेकस्मा अपि भारत | न कीर्तयेत दत्त्वा य: स च पापात् प्रमुच्यते
manorathaṃ tu yo dadyād ekasmai api bhārata | na kīrtayet dattvā yaḥ sa ca pāpāt pramucyate ||
ஓ பாரதா! ஒரே ஒருவருக்கேனும் அவன் உள்ளார்ந்த விருப்பத்தை நிறைவேற்றும் பொருளை தானமாக அளித்து, அளித்த பின் அதை எங்கும் புகழ்ந்து சொல்லாதவனும் பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுபடுவான்.
