Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)
एकशड्गः पुरा भूत्वा वराहो नन्दिवर्धन: । इमां चोद्धृतवान् भूमिमेकशूड्रस्ततो हाहम्
ekaśṛṅgaḥ purā bhūtvā varāho nandivardhanaḥ | imāṁ coddhṛtavān bhūmim ekaśūḍras tato hāham ||
பண்டைக் காலத்தில் நான் ஒரே கொம்பு/ஒரே தந்தம் கொண்ட வராக ரூபத்தை ஏற்று, இந்தப் பூமியை நீரிலிருந்து உயர்த்தி உலகின் மகிழ்ச்சியை வளர்த்தேன்; ஆகவே நான் ‘ஏகச்ருங்க’ என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறேன்.
