Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)
प्रदिशस्व बल॑ तस्य यो5धिकारार्थचिन्तक: । एवमुक्तो महादेवो देवांस्तानिदमब्रवीत्,“उस अधिकार और प्रयोजनका चिन्तन करनेवाला जो पुरुष है, उसे आप कर्तव्यपालनकी शक्ति प्रदान कीजिये।” उनके ऐसा कहनेपर महान् देव ब्रह्माजीने उन देवताओंसे इस प्रकार कहा
pradiśasva balaṁ tasya yo ’dhikārārthacintakaḥ | evam ukto mahādevo devāṁs tān idam abravīt |
“அந்த அதிகாரத்தையும் அதன் நோக்கத்தையும் சிந்திப்பவனுக்கு கடமையாற்றும் வலிமையை அருளுங்கள்.” இவ்வாறு கூறப்பட்டதும், மகாதேவனான பிரம்மா அந்த தேவர்களிடம் இவ்வாறு உரைத்தார்।
