ऋषि: शान्तिर्महाभागस्तथा वेदशिराशक्ष यः । ऋषिश्रेष्ठक्ष कपिल: शालिहोत्रपिता स्मृत:
bhīṣma uvāca | ṛṣiḥ śāntir mahābhāgas tathā vedaśirāś ca yaḥ | ṛṣiśreṣṭhaḥ kapilaḥ śālihotrapitā smṛtaḥ ||
அவர்களுள் மகாபாக்யர் ரிஷி சாந்தியும், வேதசிரஸும் இருந்தனர். மேலும் ரிஷிகளில் சிறந்த கபிலர்—சாலிஹோத்ரரின் தந்தை எனப் புகழப்படுபவர்—அவரும் சேர்க்கப்பட்டார்.
