एकस्तु शब्दो वितत: श्रुतो5स्माभिरुदीरित:

Transliteration

ekas tu śabdo vitataḥ śruto 'smābhir udīritaḥ | puṇḍarīkākṣa! tava jayaḥ | viśvabhāvana! te praṇāmaḥ | mahāpuruṣāṇām api pūrvaja hṛṣīkeśa! te namaḥ ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—“நாம் ஒரே ஒலியையே கேட்டோம்; அது உயர்ந்த குரலில் உச்சரிக்கப்பட்டு தூரதூரம் பரவியது. அனைவரும் கூறினர்—‘புண்டரீகாக்ஷா! உமக்கு ஜயம். விஸ்வபாவனா! உமக்கு வணக்கம். மகாபுருஷர்களுக்கும் முன்னோனான ஹ்ருஷீகேஷா! உமக்கு நமஸ்காரம்.’”
