बृहस्पतिस्तत:ः क्रुद्धः ख्तुचमुद्यम्य वेगित: । आकाशं घ्नन् खुच: पातै रोषादश्रूण्यवर्तयत्
Bṛhaspatis tataḥ kruddhaḥ khvucaṁ udyamya vegitaḥ | ākāśaṁ ghnan khvucaḥ pātaiḥ roṣād aśrūṇy avartayat ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—இதைக் கண்டதும் பிருஹஸ்பதி கோபத்தால் கொதித்தார். அவர் வேகமாக க்வுசத்தை உயர்த்தி ஆகாயத்தை நோக்கி மீண்டும் மீண்டும் அடித்தார்; சீற்றத்தின் மிகுதியில் அவரது கண்களிலிருந்து கண்ணீரும் வழிந்தது.
