नारद उवाच वेदेषु सपुराणेषु साड़ोपाड्रेषु गीयसे । त्वमज: शाश्वतो धाता माता5मृतमनुत्तमम्,नारदजी बोले--भगवन्! अंग और उपांगोंसहित सम्पूर्ण वेदों तथा पुराणोंमें आपकी ही महिमाका गान किया जाता है। आप अजन्मा, सनातन, सबके माता-पिता और सर्वोत्तम अमृतरूप हैं
nārada uvāca | vedeṣu sapurāṇeṣu sāṅgopāṅgeṣu gīyase | tvam ajaḥ śāśvato dhātā mātā pitā ca sarvataḥ | amṛtam anuttamam ||
நாரதர் கூறினார்—பகவானே! அங்க-உபாங்கங்களுடன் கூடிய வேதங்களிலும் புராணங்களிலும் உமது மகிமையே பாடப்படுகிறது. நீர் அஜன், சாச்வதன், தாதா; நீரே அனைத்திற்கும் தாய்-தந்தை; மேலும் உத்தமமான அமிர்தஸ்வரூபம் நீரே.
