महिमान तु त॑ दृष्टवा पुत्रस्यामिततेजस:
mahimānaṁ tu taṁ dṛṣṭvā putrasyāmitatejasaḥ
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அளவிலா ஒளியுடைய தம் புதல்வனின் அந்த மகிமையை கண்டவுடன் மனம் பக்தியும் வியப்பும் கொண்டு நிறைகிறது; அப்போது தர்மமும் விதியும் கொண்ட வல்லமையை எண்ணி உள்ளம் பணிவடைகிறது.
