संहता येन चाविद्धा भवन्ति नदतां नदा: । रक्षणार्थाय सम्भूता मेघत्वमुपयान्ति च

Transliteration

saṃhatā yena cāviddhā bhavanti nadatāṃ nadāḥ | rakṣaṇārthāya sambhūtā meghatvam upayānti ca ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—எந்த வாயுவால் ஒன்றுகூடிய மேகங்கள் தூண்டப்பட்டு முழங்குகின்றனவோ; உயிர்களின் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக அவை மீண்டும் மேகநிலையை அடைகின்றன—நீரைச் சேகரித்து தாங்கியபடி.
