Yajña-bhāga-vyavasthā and the Pravṛtti–Nivṛtti Framework (यज्ञभागव्यवस्था तथा प्रवृत्तिनिवृत्तिधर्मविवेचनम्)
शिष्याणां वचन श्रुत्वा व्यासो वेदार्थतत्त्ववित् । पराशरात्मजो धीमान् परलोकार्थचिन्तक:
śiṣyāṇāṁ vacanaṁ śrutvā vyāso vedārtha-tattva-vit | parāśarātmajo dhīmān paralokārtha-cintakaḥ ||
சீடர்களின் சொற்களை கேட்டவுடன், வேதார்த்தத்தின் உண்மையை அறிந்தவர், பராசரரின் புத்திரனான அறிவுமிக்க வியாசர்— பரலோக நலனை நாடுபவர்— அவர்களின் வேண்டுகோளைப் பற்றி சிந்தித்தார்.
