स्मितपूर्वाभिभाषिण्यो रूपेणाप्सरसां समा: | कामोपचारकुशला भावज्ञा: सर्वकोविदा:
smitapūrvābhibhāṣiṇyo rūpeṇāpsarasāṃ samāḥ | kāmopacārakuśalā bhāvajñāḥ sarvakovidāḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அவர்கள் புன்னகையுடன் பேசத் தொடங்குவார்கள்; அழகில் அப்சரஸ்களுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள். காதல் சேவையின் நுண்முறைகளில் தேர்ந்தவர்கள்; மனநிலையை அறிந்தவர்கள்; எல்லா நாகரிக நுணுக்கங்களிலும் வல்லவர்கள்.
