शुकस्य योगसिद्धिः (Śuka’s Yogic Attainment and Ascent)
एवमुक्त: स वैदेहं प्रत्युवाचापरोक्षवित् । निवृत्तिर्न तयोरस्ति नानिवृत्ति: कथठ्चन
evam uktaḥ sa vaidehaṁ pratyuvāca aparokṣavit | nivṛttir na tayor asti nānivṛttiḥ kathaṁcana ||
இவ்வாறு கேட்டபோது, நேரடி ஞானம் பெற்ற மகரிஷி பஞ்சசிகர் விதேஹ அரசனுக்கு மறுமொழி கூறினார்—“முதுமையும் மரணமும் முழுமையாக நிற்றல் இல்லை; ஆனால் எந்த வழியிலும் அவற்றை நிறுத்த இயலாது என்பதும் அல்ல. செல்வமும் அதிகாரமும் அவற்றை வெல்லாது; ஆனால் ஞானத்தால் மறுபிறப்பின் சுழற்சியே முடிவுறும்—அப்படியிருக்க முதுமை, மரணம் பற்றி என்ன சொல்ல வேண்டும்?”
