Utkramaṇa-sthāna and Ariṣṭa-lakṣaṇa: Yājñavalkya’s Instruction on Departure Pathways and Mortality Signs
ग्रन्थस्यार्थस्य पृष्ट: संस्तादृशो वक्तुमर्हति । यथा तत्त्वाभिगमनादर्थ तस्य स विन्दति
granthasyārthasya pṛṣṭaḥ saṃstādṛśo vaktum arhati | yathā tattvābhigamanād arthaṃ tasya sa vindati
வசிஷ்டர் கூறினார்—ஒரு நூலின் பொருள் குறித்து கேட்கப்படும்போது, தகுதியான ஆசான் கேட்பவரின் நிலைக்கு ஏற்றவாறு விளக்க வேண்டும்; ஏனெனில் தத்துவத்திற்குச் செலுத்துவதாலேயே அவன் அந்த நூல் நோக்கமிட்ட பொருளை உண்மையில் அடைகிறான்.
