अव्यक्त-गुण-पुरुषविवेकः | Avyakta, Guṇas, and Discrimination of Puruṣa
वणिक्ययथं द्विजं क्षत्रं वैश्यशूद्रांस्तथैव च । दानं च विविधाकारं दीनान्धकृपणादिषु
vaṇig yathāṁ dvijaṁ kṣatraṁ vaiśyaśūdrāṁs tathaiva ca | dānaṁ ca vividhākāraṁ dīnāndhakṛpaṇādiṣu ||
சில வேளைகளில் அவன் வணிகனைப் போல வாணிபம் செய்வான்; சில வேளைகளில் பிராமணன், க்ஷத்திரியன் கடமைகளைப் பின்பற்றுவான்; மேலும் சில வேளைகளில் வைசியன், சூத்ரன் தொழில்களையும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வான். துன்புறுவோர், ஏழைகள், குருடர்கள், வறியோர் முதலியோர்க்கு பலவகை தானங்களை அளிப்பான்.
