सर्वेडप्यभिमुखा: शूरा विजिता रणशोभिन: । नैषां कश्चित् पृष्ठतो वा पलायन वापि पातित:
sarve 'py abhimukhāḥ śūrā vijitā raṇaśobhināḥ | naiṣāṃ kaścit pṛṣṭhato vā palāyana vāpi pātitaḥ ||
அவர்கள் அனைவரும் போரின் அழகை உயர்த்திய வீரர்கள்; எதிரியை நேருக்கு நேர் எதிர்த்து மட்டுமே வீழ்ந்தனர். அவர்களில் ஒருவரும் முதுகில் அடிபட்டு அல்லது ஓடிச் செல்லும் போது சாயவில்லை.
