न लोके दीप्यते मूर्ख: केवलात्मप्रशंसया । अपि चापिहित: श्वश्रे कृतविद्य: प्रकाशते
na loke dīpyate mūrkhaḥ kevalātmapraśaṃsayā | api cāpihitaḥ śvaśre kṛtavidyaḥ prakāśate ||
நாரதர் கூறினார்—இந்த உலகில் மூடன் தன்னைத் தானே புகழ்வதாலே உண்மையில் ஒளிர்வதில்லை. ஆனால் உண்மையாகக் கல்வி கற்றவன், மாமியார் மறைத்துவைத்ததுபோல் மறைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாலும் தன் தகுதியாலேயே வெளிப்படுவான்.
