Adhyāya 284: Tapas as a Corrective to Household Attachment
Parāśara’s Instruction
अथैनमब्रवीद् वाक््यं लोकस्याधिपतिर्भव: । आश्वासनकरं वाक्यं वाक्यविद्वाक्य सम्मतम्,तदनन्तर वाक्यविशारद, लोकनाथ भगवान् शिवने प्रजापतिको सान्त्वना देनेवाला युक्तियुक्त एवं उत्तम वचन कहा--
athainam abravīd vākyam lokasyādhipatir bhavaḥ | āśvāsanakaraṃ vākyam vākyavid vākyasammatam ||
அதன்பின் உலகாதிபதி பவனாகிய சிவன் அவனை நோக்கி உரைத்தான்; பேச்சில் தேர்ந்தோரால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட, பொருத்தமும் நியாயமும் உடைய, ஆறுதல் தரும் சொற்களைச் சொன்னான்.
