Adhyāya 284: Tapas as a Corrective to Household Attachment
Parāśara’s Instruction
येषु पञ्चसु भूतेषु दिशासु विदिशासु च । चन्द्रार्कयोर्मध्यगता ये च चन्द्रार्करश्मिषु
yeṣu pañcasu bhūteṣu diśāsu vidiśāsu ca | candrārkayor madhyagatā ye ca candrārkaraśmiṣu ||
பஞ்சபூதங்களில், திசை-விதிசைகளில் பரவி நிற்பவர்கள்; சந்திரன்-சூரியன் இடையிலுள்ள ஆகாயத்தில் நிலைபெற்றவர்கள்; சந்திர-சூரிய கதிர்களில் உறைவோர்— அந்த எல்லா அதிஷ்டாத்ரு தேவதைகளுக்கும் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் வணக்கம், வணக்கம், வணக்கம்।
