इत्येष वृत्रमाश्रित्य ज्वरस्य महतो मया । विस्तर: कथित: पुत्र किमन्यत् प्रब्रवीमि ते
ity eṣa vṛtram āśritya jvarasya mahato mayā | vistaraḥ kathitaḥ putra kim anyat prabravīmi te ||
மகனே! இவ்வாறு வ்ருத்ரன் நிகழ்வை ஆதாரமாகக் கொண்டு, மாபெரும் (மாஹேஸ்வர) ஜ்வரத்தின் தோற்ற வரலாற்றை நான் உனக்கு விரிவாகக் கூறினேன். இனி உனக்கு நான் வேறு என்ன சொல்லப் போகிறேன்?
