मुच्यतां त्रिदशेन्द्रोडयं मत्प्रियं कुरु भाविनि

Transliteration

mucyatāṃ tridaśendro 'yaṃ matpriyaṃ kuru bhāvini | bhāvini ye devatānāṃ rājā indraḥ, etān muñca | mama idaṃ priyaṃ kāryaṃ kuru | brūhi, ahaṃ tava kāṃ kāmām abhilāṣāṃ pūrayāmi | tvaṃ yaṃ yaṃ manorathaṃ prāptum icchasi taṃ vada ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—ஓ நற்குணவதியே! தேவர்களின் அரசன் இந்த இந்திரனை விடுவி. எனக்கு இனிய செயலைச் செய்; அவனை விடுதலை செய். சொல்—உன் எந்த ஆசையை நான் நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும்? நீ அடைய விரும்பும் எந்த மனோரதமோ அதை கூறு.
