श्रेयो-धर्मकर्मविचारः
Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma
वृत्र बवाच एवं गते मे न विषादो<स्ति कश्चित् सम्यक् च पश्यामि वचस्तथैतत् | श्रुत्वा तु ते वाचमदीनसत्त्व विकल्मषोअस्म्यद्य तथा विपाप्मा
Vṛtra uvāca—evaṁ gate me na viṣādo 'sti kaścit, samyak ca paśyāmi vacas tathaitat | śrutvā tu te vācam adīna-sattva, vikalmaṣo 'smy adya tathā vipāpmā ||
விருத்திரன் கூறினான்—இவ்வாறே நிலைமை என்றால் எனக்கு இனி எந்தத் துயரும் இல்லை. உங்கள் சொல்லை நான் தெளிவாகக் காண்கிறேன்; அதை உண்மை என ஏற்கிறேன். உயர்ந்த உள்ளம் கொண்டவரே! இன்று உங்கள் வாக்கை கேட்டவுடன் என் களங்கங்கள் நீங்கி, பாவமற்றவனாய் உணர்கிறேன்.
