शुद्धां गतिं तां परमां परैति शुद्धेन नित्यं मनसा विचिन्वन्‌ । ततोडव्ययं स्थानमुपैति ब्रह्म दुष्प्रापमभ्येति स शाश्वतं वै

Transliteration

śuddhāṃ gatiṃ tāṃ paramāṃ paraiti śuddhena nityaṃ manasā vicinvan | tato 'vyayaṃ sthānam upaiti brahma duṣprāpam abhyeti sa śāśvataṃ vai ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— எப்போதும் தூய மனத்துடன் அந்தக் களங்கமற்ற பரமகதியை இடையறாது தியானித்து ஆராய்வவன், அதை நிச்சயமாக அடைகிறான். அதன் பின் அவன் மாறாததும் அரிதாகப் பெறத்தக்கதும் சனாதனமுமான பிரஹ்மபதத்தை அடைந்து, அதிலேயே உறுதியாக நிலைபெறுகிறான்.
