Educational Q&A

Kapila emphasizes that dharmic practices taught in the context of yajña form an ordered system: when each is carried out with correct procedure and discipline, the practices reinforce each other and collectively uphold the moral-religious life.

In the Śānti Parva’s instructional dialogue, Kapila is explaining a structured sequence of yajña-related duties or components, stressing proper observance (vidhi) and their mutual support as part of a coherent ethical-ritual framework.
