मोक्षोपाय-निर्णयः
Determination of the Means to Liberation
राजानो लोकयात्रार्थ तप्यन्ते परमं तप: । तेडपत्रपन्ति तादृग्भ्यस्तथावृत्ता भवन्ति च
rājāno lokayātrārthaṁ tapyante paramaṁ tapaḥ | te ḍapatrapanti tādṛgbhyas tathāvṛttā bhavanti ca ||
ஹுமத்சேனன் கூறினான்—உலகின் ஒழுங்கான நடை தொடர்வதற்காக அரசர்கள் உன்னதமான தவங்களை மேற்கொள்கிறார்கள். தம் நாட்டில் திருடரும் கொள்ளையரும் இருப்பது அவர்களுக்கு வெட்கமாகிறது; ஆகவே குடிமக்களைத் தூயவர்களாகவும் நல்லொழுக்கமுடையவர்களாகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியுடையவர்களாகவும் ஆக்க விரும்பி, அத்தகைய கட்டுப்பாட்டுடனான முயற்சியில் ஈடுபடுகிறார்கள்.
