खे वाचं त्वमथाश्रौषीर्मा प्रति द्विजसत्तम । अमर्षवशमापन्नस्तत: प्राप्तो भवानिह । करवाणि प्रियं कि ते तद्‌ ब्रूहि द्विजसत्तम

Transliteration

khe vācaṃ tvam athāśrauṣīr mā prati dvijasattama | amarṣavaśam āpannas tataḥ prāpto bhavān iha | karavāṇi priyaṃ ki te tad brūhi dvijasattama ||

Translation

ஓ இருமுறைப் பிறந்தவர்களில் சிறந்தவனே! அப்போது என்னைப்பற்றி வானொலி (ஆகாசவாணி) ஒன்றை நீ கேட்டாய்; கோபத்தால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்பட்டு இங்கே என்னிடம் வந்தாய். சொல், ஓ பிராமண முதல்வனே! உனக்கு விருப்பமான எந்தச் சேவையை நான் செய்ய வேண்டும்?
