युधिछिर उवाच कथं पज्चगुणा बुद्धि: कथं पज्चेन्द्रिया गुणा: । एतन्मे सर्वमाचक्ष्व सूक्ष्मज्ञानं पितामह

Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca

kathaṃ pañcaguṇā buddhiḥ kathaṃ pañcendriyā guṇāḥ |

etan me sarvam ācakṣva sūkṣmajñānaṃ pitāmaha ||

Translation

யுதிஷ்டிரன் கேட்டான்—பிதாமஹா! புத்திக்கு ஐந்து குணங்களே என்று எவ்வாறு கூறப்படுகிறது? மேலும் ஐந்து இந்திரியங்களும் ‘குணங்கள்’ என எவ்வாறு அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன? இந்த நுண்ணறிவை முழுமையாக எனக்கு விளக்குங்கள்.
