महाभूत–इन्द्रिय–मनस्–बुद्धि–अन्तरात्मा विवेकः | Discrimination of Elements, Senses, Mind, Intellect, and Inner Self
अस्मिन्नेव युगे तात विप्रैः सर्वार्थदर्शिभि: । अगस्त्य: सप्त ऋषयो मधुच्छन्दो5घमर्षण:
asminneva yuge tāta vipraiḥ sarvārthadarśibhiḥ | agastyaḥ sapta ṛṣayo madhucchandāghamarṣaṇaḥ ||
வியாசர் கூறினார்—“அன்பே! இவ்வயதிலேயும் எல்லா நோக்கங்களின் உண்மைப் பொருளை உணரும் பிராமணர்கள் வானப்ரஸ்த தர்மத்தைப் பேணி பரப்பினர். அவர்களில் அகஸ்தியர், சப்தரிஷிகள், மதுச்சந்தஸ், அகமர்ஷணர் ஆகியோர் உள்ளனர்.”
