Ātma-saṃyama-dharma: One-pointedness of Mind and Senses (शुक–व्यास संवादः)
अभिवाद्य गुरु ब्रूयादधीष्व भगवन्निति । इदं करिष्ये भगवन्निदं चापि कृतं मया
abhivādya guruṁ brūyād adhīṣva bhagavann iti | idaṁ kariṣye bhagavann idaṁ cāpi kṛtaṁ mayā ||
இவ்வாறு வணங்கி, கைகூப்பி குருவிடம் கூற வேண்டும்—“பகவான்! தயை செய்து எனக்கு போதியுங்கள். இந்தக் காரியத்தை நான் இப்போது செய்வேன்; அந்தக் காரியத்தை நான் செய்து முடித்தேன்.”
