ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana
River-of-Saṃsāra Metaphor
सर्वे धर्मपराश्चासन् सर्वे सततसत्रिण: । अन्तरिक्षचरा: सर्वे सर्वेडभिमुखयोधिन:
sarve dharmaparāś cāsan sarve satatasatriṇaḥ | antarīkṣacarāḥ sarve sarve 'bhimukhayodhinaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— “அவர்கள் அனைவரும் தர்மத்தில் நிலைத்தவர்கள்; அனைவரும் இடையறாது சத்ரயாகங்களைச் செய்பவர்கள். அனைவரும் ஆகாயவழி நடமாடுபவர்கள்; அனைவரும் அபிமுக யோధர்கள்—வஞ்சமின்றி நேருக்கு நேர் போரிடுபவர்கள்.”
