शत्रुभिर्वशमानीतो हीन: स्थानादनुत्तमात्‌ | वैरोचने किमाश्रित्य शोचितव्ये न शोचसि

Transliteration

śatrubhir vaśamānīto hīnaḥ sthānād anuttamāt | vairocane kim āśritya śocitavye na śocasi ||

Translation

விரோசனன் புதல்வா! பகைவரின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் அகப்பட்டு, ஒப்பற்ற அரச நிலையிலிருந்து நீ வீழ்ந்தாய்; இத்தகைய இரங்கத்தக்க நிலையில் கூட, எந்த ஆதார-வலத்தை நம்பி நீ வருந்தாமல் இருக்கிறாய்?
