ननृतुस्तत्र गन्धर्वा: घट सहस्राणि सप्तधा | एक समय था
nanṛtus tatra gandharvāḥ ghaṭa-sahasrāṇi saptadhā |
சக்ரன் கூறினான்—“அங்கே கந்தர்வர்கள் ஆயிரக்கணக்கில், ஏழு குழுக்களாக அமைந்து நடனம் ஆடினர். ஒருகாலத்தில் உன் மேல் ரத்தினங்கள் பதித்த பெரும் பொற்குடை விரிந்திருந்தது; ஆறாயிரம் கந்தர்வர்கள் ஏழு ஸ்வரங்களில் பாடி, உன் முன்னிலையில் தங்கள் நடனக்கலையை வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.”
