देवताभिश्न ये सार्ध पितृभिश्नोप भुज्जते । रमन्ते पुत्रपौत्रैश्न तेषां गतिरनुत्तमा
devatābhiś ca ye sārdhaṁ pitṛbhiś copabhujjate | ramante putrapautraiś ca teṣāṁ gatir anuttamā ||
தேவர்களுடனும் பித்ருக்களுடனும் (அவர்களுக்குரிய பங்கை அர்ப்பணித்து) பாக்கியமான இன்பங்களை அனுபவித்து, மகன்களும் பேரன்களும் உடன் மகிழ்வோர்—அவர்களுக்குச் சிறந்ததிலும் சிறந்த நிலை கிடைக்கும்.
