वाक्सम्भाषाप्रवृत्तं यत्‌ तन्मन:परिवर्जितम्‌ | बुद्धया चाध्यवसीयीत ब्रह्म॒चर्यमकल्मषम्‌

vāksambhāṣāpravṛttaṃ yat tan manaḥparivarjitam | buddhyā cādhyavasīyīta brahmacaryam akalmaṣam ||

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—வாக்காலும் உரையாடலாலும் மட்டும் தொடங்கி, மனம் பின்னர் விட்டு விடும் நடத்தையைத் தெளிந்த அறிவால் உறுதியாகத் தீர்மானிக்க வேண்டும். புத்தியால் மாசற்ற பிரம்மச்சரியத்தைப் பேண உறுதி கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
