Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
स तत्रेष्वस्त्रमकरोद् भगुश्रेष्ठाद् यथाविधि । प्रियश्चाभवदत्यर्थ देवदानवरक्षसाम्
sa tatreṣv astram akarod bhaguśreṣṭhād yathāvidhi | priyaś cābhavad atyartha devadānavarakṣasām ||
அங்கே அவன் ப்ருகு குலத்தில் சிறந்தவரிடமிருந்து முறையோடு திவ்யாஸ்திரத்தைப் பெற்றான்; அதன் பின் தேவர்கள், தானவர்கள், ராட்சசர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் அவன் மிகுந்த பிரியமானவனானான்।
