इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि भूगुभरद्वाजसंवादे वर्णस्वरूपकथने एकोननवत्यधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi bhṛgu-bharadvāja-saṃvāde varṇa-svarūpa-kathane ekona-navaty-adhika-śatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
இவ்வாறு ஸ்ரீமஹாபாரதத்தின் சாந்திபர்வத்தில், மோக்ஷதர்மப் பகுதியில், ப்ருகு–பரத்வாஜ உரையாடலில் வர்ணங்களின் இயல்பை விளக்கும் நூற்று தொண்ணூறாம் அத்தியாயம் நிறைவுற்றது.
